I. LEARNING ASSESSMENT

II. Accomplish the following:

a. Enumerate ways on how to provide low filter for language learners.

 Tap into their prior knowledge.

 Try SDAIE strategies.
 Modify your methods.
 Create partnerships.

b. What do input and output mean in language learning?

Input refers to the processable language that a learner is

exposed to while listening or reading (i.e. receptive skills). Output, on the
other hand, is the language produced by either speaking or writing (i.e.
productive skills).

c. How can one provide more input to enhance language learning?

Conversations provide a lot of input and are very useful

speaking exercises. I also do writing activities. They help you write and
use the language better. Spend some time studying grammar rules that
you don't really understand. But don't get too focused.

d. Explain the line; students should not be put in the defensive.

- For me, the line is that the materials and methods should
not be a test of the student's skills or previous experience, but rather
should help the student acquire more knowledge rather than just pointing
out weaknesses.

- You can do error correction while teaching the language. This is

because this error correction has a great impact on the student's learning
process and helps them retain new information effectively.

2. For you, what encourages acquisition?

- For me, experience is what inspires acquisition. why am i saying

this? This is because observation can provide us with new information that
is useful in our daily lives.

3. Which level do you think you belong?

a. Beginner
b. intermediate
c. advanced
Describe your current level (beginner/intermediate/advanced)

not very good at it.So I believe I belong to beginner.

4. What are the potentials and limitations of a classroom in language

learning?
- The classroom has an advantage if it is the primary source
of comprehensible input. If the acquirer has a rich source of information
