3. Introduction
a) project background
The use of preposition of place in speaking and writing performance still
becomes problems for students. This is because due to difficulty for the students
to differentiate the meaning each of the preposition of place. The common
mistake for the students is they use worng preposition to describe things. This
project aimed at to see the effectiveness of the digital tools in making the
students to comprehend with the preposition of places by using editing tools.

b) literature review on related field(s)


 A study on Error Analysis on the Use of Prepositions in Students’ Writing by Andajani
in 2016 showed that from 1002 prepositions found in 72 students’ writing, there were
117 incorrect preposition usage or 11.68%. The dominant errors made by the
students are errors on the use of prepositions of place.
 The research by Saravannan (2014) found that the students found more difficulties in
the use of prepositions of place and direction than the prepositions of time because
of their mother tongue interference.

 To help students to understand preposition in instructions
 To improve students’ listening skills
 To give simple but clear instructions to the students
5. Objective(s)
 The students can use preposition of places correctly.
 The students can differentiate the preposition of places.
 Using Canva application let the students to experiment and innovate
something.
 The goal is to come up with more human-centered, collaborative, and
optimistic ways to create social change.
 Other than to comprehend them with the preposition of places, this activity
can cultivate the students’ creativity.

15. Conclusion 
This project is created for the students to practice and understand the preposition
of places. The tradisional ways such as fill in the blacks and quizes can lose the
students’ interest to practice and learn the preposition. Hence, using editing tools can
get their attention as it is something different. This project combines technology, art and
grammar in one learning. Therefore, I hope this project can solve the problem of
studens to use preposition of place correctly.
