BAR GRAPH
A bar graph (also known as a bar chart or bar diagram)
is a visual tool that uses bars to compare data among
categories. A bar graph may run horizontally or
vertically. The important thing to know is that the longer
the bar, the greater its value.

BAR GRAPH
A bar chart is a chart with rectangular bars with
lengths proportional to the values that they
represent. One axis of the chart shows the specific
categories being compared, and the other axis
represents a discrete value.

BAR GRAPH

Bar charts provide a visual presentation of

categorical data. Categorical data is a grouping of
data into discrete groups, such as months of the
year, age group, shoe sizes, and animals. These
categories are usually qualitative.

Vertical bar graph

A vertical bar graph is the most

common type of bar chart and it
is also referred to as a column
graph. It represents the
numerical value of research
variables using vertical bars
whose lengths are proportional
to the quantities that they
represent.

Horizontal bar graph

A horizontal bar chart is a

graph in the form of rectangular
bars.The bar chart title
indicates which data is
represented. The vertical axis
represents the categories being
compared, while the horizontal
axis represents a value. This
type of chart provides a visual
representation of categorical
data.
