Presyo ng letson nakatakdang tumaas habang

papalapit ang pasko
-the letsonero’s are expecting that the price of the letson
will increase while the Christmas is coming even though
there are over supply of pigs here in the Philippines, I
discovered that if there is a increase demand for letson
You will expect that the price will also increase, the
increase of the price of Letson is because the pig farmers
from the provinces who is supplying pig in the Metro
Manila is also increasing the price of the of their pigs.
Even though the price of letson is increasing every week,
Letsonero’s still believe that the Letson that they sell will
all be sold. It is because many people are still willing to
purchase letson because serving letson in their table is a
tradition of many Filipino families, But in the market it is
the opposite, the fresh pigs sellers are problematic
because even though there is a over supply of pigs the
price of pigs are still the same.

know that many people are so proud that even we are

Nobyembre, pinaka mataas mula NOVEMBER 2008
- Because of the expensiveness of vegetable it had many
negative impacts on many eatery, but eatery develop
different tactics to still gain profits even when the
vegetables is pricey like, they put less vegetable in their
food, or increase the price of the food. The price of
vegetables is now doubled compare from the past year.
The typhoon and other natural phenomenon are also a
cause of the increase of this prices, but the National
Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) predicted
this increase of the prices so they come up to a solution,
they put many Kadiwa stores that sell their product in a
cheap prices, and NEDA also giving targeted cash
transfer, NEDA make sure that the most vulnerable will
overcome this kind of inflation.

Department of Agriculture (DA) at Samahang

- They do an inventory to see if there is enough local
production of onion and they also visit some of cold
storage where the cooperative store onion so it won’t
spoil but there no stock left, meaning we won’t be
expecting product from this storages, but there are some
storage that stored over 30,000 bag of red onion that is in
good condition, but from these storages which only cost
141.00 per kilo but it is surprising that the prices of onion
In the market is costing 280.00 per kilo, DA is studying if
they should I port onion or not, but in my opinion we
should import onion because it can solve the shortage of
onion and it can also lower the prices of the onion in the
market.

Coast Guards
- Base from Artemio Abu ( Philippine Coast Guard
Commandant Admiral ) when he attended ASEAN Coast
Guard Maritime Law Enforcement Agencies Meeting in
Valley Indonesia, he said that the Countries joined forces
to keep the peace and safety of the oceans in the region.
There’s really no reason for other country to have a
misunderstanding regarding in taking care of the oceans,
but some Countries are trespassing in the border of the
other Countries which starts the conflict and causes the
misunderstanding, which leads in fighting of the Coast
Guards of the opposing country and causing harms to the
Coast Guards and might also destroy the ocean we are
trying to protect.

- A group of workers filed a petition in Regional tripartite

wage and productivity board to increase their wages and
many more groups are participating in filing the same
petition to increase the wages of each workers and I think
the workers really need the increase in wages because the
prices of goods in the market is also increasing, their
wages are not enough of their everyday needs and how
about the Workers that have children that are studying,
there is no enough income to sustain their needs, many
workers are relying on lending which have a big interest,
their income can’t cover the hospital check-up which is
important and you will know if you have any illness,

Pagbaba ng Edad ng Pagiging Senior Citizen sa 56

Imbes na 60, Ipinanukala ni Sen. Revilla

- Sen. Revilla filed a Bill to lower the age to be

considered a Senior Citizen, from 60 down to 56 years old
so the Filipino can benefit early from this program, being
a Senior Citizen means many benefits like 20% discount
to all establishment, transportation, and free medical
service from Government establishment in any part of the
Philippines. But I think it will be hard to fund this bill,
because now many business owners are complaining to
the discount given to the Senior Citizens, and if the bill
will be approved we might expect that there will be a lot
of business owner that will be complaining because this
might cause loss to their businesses.

employee so they can get their job back, and because of
the action of DOT, There are about 12,000 job
opportunities for all unemployed workers, this action
might also probably answer the problem of poverty here
in the Philippines, I know that when there are many
tourist who travel we will also be needing more Employee

mamimili

The farm gate price of onion lowered by P200 base from

the Department of Agriculture, but many store still sell
their onion for P600-700 so many Shoppers are buying
onion on Kadiwa Market that sell onion in very low
prices, but I think the problem is that many suppliers of
onion didn’t follow the given price of Department of
Agriculture
