In groups of 3 you will be given a theme and a symbol.

For __October 11______________ you will present your theme and symbol using
Powerpoint or other documents that can be shown to the class on the overhead. Your
presentation should last 8-10minutes. Please try NOT to go over 10 minutes.

1. Present your theme.

2. Pick at least 3 well selected quotes that you have typed out so that they can be seen
by the class on the overhead. Pick quotes which illustrate your theme and discuss
each quote (PQC).
3. Find or draw? an image or two that help to illustrate your theme.
4. Present your symbol. What do you feel it represents? Where does it appear in the
novel?
5. Find or draw? an image of your symbol.

I will assign the members of each group and I will assign a theme and symbol to each group.
