Paris: The City of Lights
Paris is the capital city of France. It is the only city in the country that has
a population of over 1 million people. It is a beautiful place that many
tourists want to visit. There are many amazing landmarks that contribute
to the city’s fame. One of these is the Eiffel Tower, which stands at 324
metres tall and can be seen from across Paris. The best museum in the
city is called the Louvre. The Mona Lisa, a painting by the Renaissance
artist Leonardo da Vinci, hangs there. The Louvre Museum is also home to
thousands of other incredible paintings and fascinating objects.
