CRIMINAL JUSTICE
Program Overview
This program provides a review of the US criminal
justice, public safety management and administration
system. Students develop a thorough understanding of
public safety agencies and their functions, and learn
area theory, as well as practice. The program analyzes
the multifaceted problems that confront public safety
officers and administrators and the implications that
their decisions may have on the public. The program
uses a case study approach to evaluate strategies for
solving complex issues within the criminal justice
system.
