    This study examined the conflict management strategies used by principals and teachers in secondary schools in Rivers State, Nigeria. The researchers found that principals and teachers most frequently used integrating and compromising strategies, while teachers were more likely to use avoiding strategies compared to principals. Additionally, teachers tended not to use dominating strategies as much when managing student conflicts. However, the study did not investigate how parents could be involved in helping students resolve conflicts at school, even though parents play a key role in influencing their child's academic achievement and handling conflicts. Involving parents more could help schools better manage conflicts between students.
