Greetings in Christ!
We, the BMME – 5 of Academic Year 2023 – 2024 raise the following issues and concerns regarding our
enrollment and grades situation. We are hoping for your kind consideration with our individual concerns.
We just hope to graduate on time because we are also concerned by our expenses and to the ones that
are working hard to send us to the University of San Agustin, our Alma Matter.

Issue : Lacking subject, Filipino 3. This was supposed to be taken during the third year, but the registrar's
office did not enroll me. I keep on coming back and Ma'am Angel keeps on telling me that she will enroll
me in the second semester. Now, I'm in 5th year, and I still haven't taken the subject. It's the only lacking
subject that I must take for me to graduate. I hope you would be kind and considerate enough to cater
my complaints. Thank you!

Issue: I would like to raise a concern about my lacking subjects: MEM 5, MEM 6, Filipino 3, and Prof Ed 8.
I already have a grade for MEM 6, and Sir Bimbo advised me to enroll in MEM 5 for the 1st
semester (we will meet once a week for lessons) and MEM 6 for the 2nd semester (I already have a
grade for this subject).
So, during my 4th year 2nd semester, I went to the registrar's office to enlist my subjects,
including Filipino 3 and Prof. Ed. 8, since Ma'am Angel did not enroll me in these subjects during my 3rd
year 2nd semester but only to know that my subjects are fully loaded. She also told me that I cannot
enroll in Filipino 3 because I lack a grade for Filipino 1, and I was wondering why I lack a grade because I
was able to proceed to Filipino 2 together with my classmates.
Now, I'm in my 5th year, and I still haven't taken these subjects, and I must take these subjects
for me to graduate. I hope you will be kind and considerate enough to cater to my complaints. Thank
you!

I would like to address my concerns about the following:
 Subject: Foreign language
o Reasons:

Last school year 2022- 2023 first semester, Ma’am Angel told me that I’m not allowed to
enroll foreign language 1 and foreign language 3 at the same time since it is pre requisite, but I told
her that Spanish 1 (FL 1) and French 1 (FL 3) are not pre requisite, but She only enrolled me on
foreign language 3 and 4. We passed an overload form and pay for it but still she won’t let us to take
both (FL 1 and FL 3).
 Subject: Field Study
o Reasons:

Should’ve taken by 3rd Year but we don’t know why it wasn’t enrolled at that time.
 Subject: MEM 4
o Reasons:

I don’t have a grade on Mem 4, I took the subject last School Year 2020-2021 2nd
Semester. The teacher on that subject was Sir Raphael Bofill and I already sent a personal
message to my teacher and he told me that he already submitted my grades.

As a 5th year student instead of focusing my 1st and 2nd term this year I still need to enroll
the following subjects aside from Field Study:

 Foreign Language 2 (Spanish 2)

o Reason: I was not able to take Spanish 2 during my 3rd year because I failed Spanish 1.
But our professor gave us a removal exam and among the 6 of us who took the exam last
April 29, 2022 I was the only one who passed the exam. I already enrolled the subject
but I decided to drop it in case I fail the exam but since I passed, I was not able to enroll
it again because the changing the dropping of schedule was already out of the date. So
last school year I asked Sir Bimbo for advice if I can enroll French 1 and 2 instead and he
agreed. So hopefully for Spanish 2 I will be able to enroll it this 2nd semester so I can
graduate on time.

I would like to address the following:

Issue No. 1: Subjects with NO GRADES.
 Foreign Language 3 (French 1): Grade was submitted by Ma’am Helen from Foreign
Languages last June 30, 2023 and it was received by Ma’am Rachel from the Registrar’s
Office. I went to the Registrar’s Office last August 18, 2023 to follow up, Ma’am Angel
told me that she couldn’t find it and that she will send me an email me when she finds it.
Until now there’s no update, even though I kept on sending follow up emails.

 PE – 3: I don’t know why I don’t have grades in this subject but I’m sure that I finished all
the requirements. I already discussed this with my teacher Ma’am Lilian Eslita, she
agreed to process and settle it.
Issue No. 2: UNENROLLED SUBJECTS and I don’t know why.
Aside from World Music and Music Criticism I have 3 more subjects that weren’t enrolled
though I already attended them.
I enlisted these subjects during enrollment period when we were 3 rd Year and 4th Year Level. I
joined these classes given that my classmates are taking them, I took the midterm and final exam until I
found out that I wasn’t enrolled as my teachers told me I am not in the list of their students. I tried to
reenlist/reenroll it all over again and was never enrolled until now that I’m in 5 th Year.
My teachers agreed to hold my grades and they’re ready to send a letter of attestation to prove
that I already attended these subjects. I don’t need to attend these classes anymore; I just need to enroll
them so that my grades will be encoded by my teachers.

 FIELD STUDY – This subject is supposed to be enrolled in our 3 rd Year Level and the
whole class became confused why it wasn’t enrolled during that time.
 AME 7 & AME 8 – I suffered depression during pandemic and needed to choose
between not enrolling the hardest subject or stop studying for one academic year to
save my mental health. I am ready to take on these subjects along with my practice
teaching and promise not to compromise either one.
