Our homeroom is in great need of paper towels, facial tissues, cleaning wipes, and hand sanitizer. We
appreciate any donation of these items.

What we will be doing this week:

● ELA:
○ We will start our novel, A Long Walk to Water
■ Our focus will be on annotating and class discussions about the book
■ We will also gain background knowledge, making connections and inferences
■ Students will have a different schedule this week in order to complete the
beginning of the year Star 360 testing on Wednesday and Thursday.
Tuesday and Friday should be a typical day while Wednesday and Thursday will
have a modified schedule to accommodate testing
● SEL
○ What Tuesdays and Thursdays Look Like During SEL Time:
