GESTS01X FINAL OUTPUT

The Final Output for this AY 2022-2023 Third Term is about the modification of an already existing
technology. Please carefully read the instructions below.

Objectives:

At the end of the semester, learners are expected to:

a. Name a widely used technology that has a huge impact in society;


b. Identify the advantages and disadvantages of this technology;
c. Determine possible modifications of the technology for it to perform and be used more;
d. Determine the feasibility of the modification they made;
e. Value the importance of learning to contribute to the development of science and technology
for society.

Instructions:

1. Kindly form groups of 5-7 members. Assign a leader for your group.
2. The leaders will update the Final Output.
3. Think of a widely used technology today that has a huge impact on society. You may use your
written work 1 as a reference and identify the following:
A. Its impact on society
B. Its common features and the function of each
C. Advantages and disadvantages
D. Problems that may arise because of its disadvantages.
4. Based on the problems identified, how will you address and solve them? Use the factors below
to answer:

A. Modifications that could be made- Which features should be modified? Why?

B. What will be the impact of the modification?

C. Is the modification feasible? Are the resources in the country enough? Is it possible to be made
within 5 years?

5. Each group will submit a written report about this and will also present it live. Please us ethe
