Intramurals is the most awaited events in every school wherein the student in every
department has its own competitors in different field of sports. Wherein all departments are
involving the High School and of course our department College of tourism and hospitality
management. With the theme “Fostering resilience, achieving excellence”, the three-day
intramurals which started march 29 till march 31, 2023. The first day of the celebration, it was
started with a school mass to bless and give guidance to each faculty teachers, students and
athletes involved in the games. The intramural started by a motorcade with faculty teachers.
On the first day of intramurals, I woke up early to join the motorcade, since it is my first time to
join a motorcade. We started in PLT Bayombong bound to PLT Bascaran, then after the
motorcade all the teams gathered together under the heat of the sun to hear the
announcement, and then we were sent to the convention hall to watch the presentation of the
different teams.
On the 2nd day of intramurals, I attended the event so early and I thought the games would
start early so I went early. While waiting for my friends, I went out to eat while waiting for the
games to start. At exactly 9, the ball games start playing so I just watched the volleyball girls
first, because my partner was there. I can say that they play well because it’s the semifinals and
they won’t make it to the semis if are not good enough. After watching the Volleyball game, I
asked my friend to go and watch the basketball game since it is my team and the players that
are in the team are my old teammates so I cheered for them. They won the Game and I can say
that they are good and they did their very best.
On the 3rd day of intramurals, I went to Bascaran to watch all the finals games. I watch the
championship game of volleyball girls between Sultans and Maginoos and after a long time of
playing the Maginoos won the game. After watching the volleyball girl’s championship game, we
went to the convention hall to watch the basketball boy’s championship game between The
Datus and The Maginoos, and after a long game, the Maginoos won. The players of the
Maginoos are all big and strong compared to the players of the Datus that has a few big mens,
but I can say that they are also strong even though they are not that big. After the basketball
game everyone was preparing for the awarding, all the winners were given medals and this
awarding lasted for almost four hours so we went home late and after the awarding, that’s
when the intramurals of the school year ended this.
