MAGUIKAY COOL SMASHERS DEFEAT TUBURANON SPIKERS

3-2 Standing Not That Bad

Smashers went to Tuburan Cebu to fight against Tuburanon Spikers. The game
happened in Tomingao Gym where people are cheering and can’t wait the game to
start. Before the game started, each team has been doing practice inside the court.
Both team doing their best to win the game.

Each team has 6 members. The players of Maguikay Cool Smashers are Cortes,
Pascual, Salazar, Reponte, Opone and Orquia. Cortes is their team captain.

In the first set of match, it went well. The Maguikay Cool Smashers win the first set.
After the set, the teams change playing area.
In the second set of match, Maguikay Cool Smashers lost against Tuburanon Spikers.
The team captain of Maguikay Cool Smashers became sad of what happened. He said
to his team “We need to be mindful in our actions, we need to win for the next round of
the game, LABAN LANG”.

In the third set of match, Maguikay Cool Smashers became more active up until they
win the third match. In the fourth set of match, Maguikay Cool Smashers lost again
against Tuburanon Spikers.

Both teams are scared for the last set. They double up their strength and defense
power. They are both tired but they don’t want to miss the last match that will lead them
to be the winner.

The last match started. It composed long rallies because both teams are confident and
wanted to be the winner. The last match ended by Cortes as he done spiking. Maguikay
Cool Smashers fans are shouting and became happy of the result.

The game was ended. Maguikay Cool Smashers became happy of what happened.
They cannot believe that they defeated Tuburanon Speakers. Cortes their captain
announced as the Most Valuable Player.

“Sa among mga fans, salamat kaayo sa inyong suporta. Bisan ug pandemic naa mo diri
nitan aw sa among duwa. Kapoy ang biyahe gikan Mandaue hangtod diri pero worth it
ang tanang kahago nga among naagian. Salamat jud kaayo” Cortes said.

Other members of the team became proud of themselves.

They said “bisan sa kalayo sa Tuburan ge ari jud namo para maka meet me ug bag o
nga kontra sa volleyball ug usa pa sad among ge pursue among passion. Buhaton
namo ang tanan para sa among passion ug para sad ma relieve among stress, maka
exercise , makat on ug teamwork ug mas mo taas among confidence. Tungod sa
volleyball mas ni active me ug nitaas among kumpyansa pero dili ni namo mabuhat ang
tanan ug wala mong mga fans namo. Salamat kaayo ninyo ug sunod puhon na sad
kinahanglan me sa inyong suporta”

Maguikay Cool Smashers finally defeated Tuburanon Spikers. They still have plan to
compete in other places. Their next game would be in Danao City.

“To fight is not just to win but to build respect and to love more our passion. Volleyball is
our passion and we cannot imagine life without this sport” Maguikay Cool Smashers
team said.
