The Amazing Race that was organized by the Agricultural Engineering

Department was once again the highlight for the second day of the students
week (April 11, 2019) which was held at Pangasinan State University Sta.
Maria Campus.

The race was joined by eight groups from different departments. Since the
organizers prepared 10 different stations, the game requires all participants to
pass through all 10 stations to win the race.

Each department tried their best to win in the competition but the first three
groups to finish the race were the ROTC Ranger Squad who is announced as
first place winner, BSA Strong as second placer and TLE Sexiers as the third
placer.

In spite of the fact that there are five loosing teams out of eight participants,
sportsmanship still reigns as they all choose to remain friends after the
competition.
PSU Sta. Maria Brings Color and Fun to Run

 After the run, Rejelyn Marquez of BSE III- English said “This is my first time
to join color run, nkakainis kasi basang-basa ako pero nag enjoy naman ako
then laughs.”

As what they say, “your mood today can be a big factor on your mood
tomorrow”, so involving the students with fun activities during the first day of
the event is like preparing them for fun experience the entire SW.

The Pangasinan State University (PSU) Sta. Maria Campus celebrates this
year’s Students Week (SW) by exposing the students with a colorful and
group-friendly opening activity #KoloRunNatinto last April 10, 2019.

The registration and distribution of the Color Run shirts starts at 5am
alongside the guard house of PSU campus, assisted by the SSC officers.

This two rounds #KoloRunNatinTo around the campus area started at 6am
with the help of the firefighters who take charge in getting the runners wet
and color their shirts.

The PSUNIANS unite in this year’s Students Week (SW) through a very fun
activity that requires teamwork, the “Laro ng Lahi” with the theme: “Bes tara
na sa upgraded na saya @ PSU Sta. Maria” on April 12, 2019.

“Laro ng Lahi” was organized by the SSC officers and hosted by the Math
Wizards Organization (MWO).

The list of the exciting games played in the said activity are the Flag racing,
Catch Me Baby, Catch My Egg, Tug of War, Ghost Hunting, Agawang Buko
and Palambutin mo talong ko which was participated by all college
departments including Senior High School Students of PSU Sta. Maria
Campus.
The participants are equally eager to win the game but every game needs to
be played to determine the winner.

With the determination and good teamwork, the SSC officers as the
organizer of the event awarded the first prize to the College of BSA, second
to the College of BSE-TLE and the third to the College of ABM.

 To make the Zumba perfect, it was led by the two beautiful and talented
dance instructors and choreographers of PSU SHS, Ms. Mhel Niňa Lorayna
and Ms. Mekaella Lorayna.

The zumba program is not a contest but it gives the participants a very
precious prize for this fitness program is so beneficial. It doesn’t just burn
your fats but also makes you happy, improves your heart health, boost you
self confidence and so on.

Truly that the entire workout was tiring but at the end of the day, the
participants still got into a happy and healthy day.

On the day of April 10, 2019, right after the fun run, the Pangasinan State
University (PSU) Sta. Maria Campus was filled with students attending the
first ever fitness-party in the campus which is the “Zumba dance your fats
away” through the beat of great music.

On the other hand, zumba will be incomplete with just the beat of great music,
it also needs a fitness dance moves, dance instructors and the presence of
people who wants to burn fats and benefit from this awesome workout.

On the night of April 12, 2019, the screams and shouts conquered the crowd
as the Mr. And Ms. Pangasinan State University (PSU) Sta. Maria Campus
was once again the highlight of the Students Week 2019, wherein the
PSUNIANS attended and enjoyed the night by supporting their department
representatives.
The candidates proved that they are not just a handsome and a gorgeous Mr. PSU Advocate 2019
face as they transformed when they show off their skills in ramp modelling,
talent portion and question and answer portion. Mr. Jason Doton of TLE Department
