Minutes of the Meeting

General Election

Meeting Date: June , 2019

Meeting Location: Bulan NHS Gymnasium

Present: Year-level elected math officers

Absent:

I. Call to Order

The meeting was called by Mrs. Mercy A. Gamba, EMATHICS Club adviser, at 3:00

in the afternoon.

II. Reports

 Mr. John Denver Medalla presented the agenda of the meeting which is the

general election of the EMATHICS Club officers for the school year 2019-2020.

 Mr. Medalla discussed the rules to be followed during the election in which; the

president should be a grade 12 student; the vice president should be a grade

10 student while the rest positions can be in any of the grade levels.
  Mr. Medalla acted as the temporary president with Mr. Gerard Granado as the

secretary for the start of election.

 The year level elected officers nominated and voted for their chosen candidate

in each position.

 The result of the election was as follow:

Narrative Report

Nutri-walk and Tree Planting

The EMATHICS Club officers and advisers joined the Nutri-walk and Tree planting activity

held at Bulan Eco Park, Calomagon Bulan, Sorsogon on July 26, 2019 with the theme “ Kumain

ng Wasto at Maging Aktibo… Push Natin ‘to“ in accordance with the Nutrition Month. The walk

started at exactly 5 in the morning, starting from Bulan Munucipal Post Office to Bulan Eco Park.

The said activity was also participated by different school organizations, LGU, and other

organization here in Bulan. The activity aimed to promote nutrition by eating healthy foods and

having a healthy environment. The activity lasted at 11:00 A.M.

Narrative Report

AGRI-EXHIBIT

The EMATHICS Club actively participated in the Agri-Exhibit held at Bulan National High

School Gymnasium on July 29, 2019 with the theme “ Kumain ng Wasto at Maging Aktibo… Push

Natin ‘to“. The said activity started at 8 in the morning and was participated by the different

organizations and selected grade 12 sections in Bulan NHS. The participants were tasked to

serve nutritious foods in their designated area to promote a better nutrition for the students. The

judges were able to determine the winners of the said activity, whom the EMATHICS Club won

as the 3rd Placer. The activity ended at 5:00 P.M.

The meeting was called by Daner Barrun, EMATHICS Club president, at 4:00 in the

afternoon.

II. Reports

 Barrun presented the agenda of the meeting which is the Agri-Exhibit.

 Barrun discussed the things to do and bring for the preparation of the Agri-

Exhibit such as scissor, glue gun, glue stick, tape, nigo tomorrow 1:00 P.M. at

BNHS Gymnasium

 The officers also discussed about the design of the booth and the foods to be

served such as kakanin, fruits and vegetales.

 III. Adjourned

II. Reports

 Mr. Barrun together with Mrs. Mercy Gamba, EMATHICS Club adviser,

presented the agenda of the meeting which is the CAPA or the Calendar of

Activities.

 The activities planned, organized and discussed by the officers and adviser

were as follow:
 a. School-based math camp (target date: 3rd week of August)

b. Cluster math camp (expected date and venue: September, San Juan Bag-

o High School)

c. Division math camp (expected date and venue: October,

Bulan/Irosin/Casiguran)

d. Monthly math wizard

e. Community service (Beautification of Bulan terminal)

f. Tutorial (target date: after 1st Grading exam)

g. IGP- Pera sa Papel

h. Seminar Training/workshop

 A brief discussion about the upcoming acquaintance party was also done

during the meeting.

School-based Math Camp

Meeting Date: August 13, 2019

Meeting Location: Mathematics Faculty Room

Present: EMATHICS Club officers and advisers

The meeting was called by Mrs. Mercy A. Gamba, EMATHICS Club adviser, and

Daner Barrun, EMATHICS Club president, at 3:00 in the afternoon.

II. Reports

 Daner Barrun together with Mrs. Gamba presented the agenda of the meeting

which is the School-based Math Camp to be held at September 23-25.

 Barrun discussed the venue, time, registration fee and other details about the

school-based math camp including the proposed activities to be done in the

said activity such as Search for Lakan at Mutya ng Sipnayan, search for math

wizards, slogan making, poster making, team-building and etc.

  The officers were divided into different responsibilities for the preparation of

the school-based math camp.
