The 3rd Quarter Meeting, hosted by Engr. Dorothy P. Felipe –

administrative assistant/BNS, include the following AGENDA: Routine
Reporting, 43rd Nutrition Month Celebration, Donate a Bag by FIBECO to
DCCs of North Poblacion, Provincial Search for the Child-Friendly
Barangay, and other DCC Activities

I INVOCATION : The meeting was opened with a prayer led by HON. HERMOSA B. LOMOD, at 9:30
in the morning of JULY 7, 2017 at the Barangay Social Hall, North Poblacion,
Maramag, Bukidnon.

II NATIONAL ANTHEM : The singing of the national anthem was led by MRS. HELEN D. ANDO, BHW
supervising.

acknowledging the presence of the BCPC officers and members at the same
time commending their unwavering support for the continuance of the BCPC
programs/projects/activities year in and year out.
MRS. ESTER Y. CORNILLA, BCPC secretary, was called to read the minutes of the
2ND QUARTER MEETING of the BCPC held last May 12, 2017 and to determine a
quorum. There being no revision or correction made, the previous minutes of
meeting was adopted on motion of DR. ROLISA T. BENEDICTO, Ph.D. seconded
by HON. CARLOS EMILIO F. GAMBOA.

VII. DISCUSSION PROPER:

1. ROUTINE REPORTING ON BARANGAY HEALTH STATION (BHS) ACTIVITIES:
1.1 HATUD SERBISYO MEDICAL MISSION HELD LAST JUNE 5, 2017 @ THE BARANGAY SOCIAL
HALL OF NORTH POBLACION. Engr. Dorothy P. Felipe reported on the recently concluded HATUD
SERBISYO MEDICAL MISSSION conducted by the LGU MARAMAG last June 5, 2017 at the BARANGAY
SOCIAL HALL. The frontline services include among others the FREE late registration of births and marriages
by the Municipal Civil Registrar’s Office, the mass wedding by the Municipal Mayor, the medical consultation,
teeth extraction, and circumcision. Attached is a copy of the list of beneficiaries served during the HATUD
SERBISYO.
SCHEDULED BLOOD LETTING OPERATION AND SCHOOL-BASED IMMUNIZATION ON
AUGUST 14, 2017. The discussion shifted on the next item presented by the host – Engr. Dorothy P. Felipe,
regarding the coming blood-letting operation and school-based immunization scheduled on August 14, 2017 at the
Bukidnon National School of Home Industries (BNSHI) and the Maramag Central Elementary School (MCES).
The announcement was duly noted by the two (2) school principals present. DR. ROLISA T. BENEDICTO,
Secondary school principal of BNSHI, commented that the academe is also regularly conducting a blood-letting
operation and other front-line services beneficial to parents and students during their BRIGADA ESKWELA.
3RD REGIONAL BNS CONFERENCE SCHEDULED ON SEPTEMBER 28, 2017 IN CAGAYAN DE ORO
CITY. Engr. Felipe mentioned in passing the UPCOMING REGIONAL BNS CONFERENCE to be held on
September 28, 2017 in Cagayan de Oro City. She said that these conferences actually serve as venues for
updating the methods, strategies, guidelines, and other matters relevant to NUTRITION. For this very reason, the
Barangay Government is supporting these yearly scheduled conferences.
1.2 FREE FEEDING PROGRAM TO THE CHILDREN OF THE 19 PUROKS OF NORTH POBLACION HELD
LAST JUNE 16, 2017. According to MRS. ESTER Y. CORNILLA, Barangay DCC teacher, all the DCC
teachers assisted in said feeding program conducted by the LGU NORTH POBLACION, Maramag,
Bukidnon, together with the Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) and the Barangay Health Workers
(BHWs). Attached is a summary report on said feeding program.

2. 43rd NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION ON JULY 28, 2017. BNS FELIPE announced that the 43 rd NUTRITION
MONTH CELEBRATION is fast approaching and that the BCPC should take active part in the festivities. The
Nutrition Month is being celebrated in order to give emphasis to the importance of GOOD NUTRITION, to the role
and responsibility of every household in maintaining a healthy and able-bodied citizenry, and to increase public
awareness regarding the national nutrition program.
3. PROVINCIAL SEARCH FOR THE CHILD-FRIENDLY BARANGAY SLATED ON SEPTEMBER 22, 2017 .
Although it is still a way off, the Emcee announced the coming search for child-friendly barangay to be conducted by
the Province of Bukidnon. This early, she said, a copy on the CRITERIA for the search was disseminated in order for
the barangays to prepare/get ready and set things in order for said province-wide evaluation. The barangay working
force were enjoined to actively participate, coordinate and mobilize their respective teams.
4. HIGHLIGHT OF ACTIVITIES OF THE BARANGAY DAY CARE CENTERS FOR THE 3 RD QUARTER. The
following activities were discussed regarding the coming activities of the DCC TEACHERS, based on the LETTERS-
INVITATION received by the LGU BARANGAY NORTH POBLACION:
(a) “DONATE A BAG” BY FIBECO, INC. TO ALL DCCs OF NORTH POBLACION, ON JULY 27, 2017;
(b) CAPABILITY BUILDING SEMINAR FOR DCC TEACHERS AUGUST 29, 2017, PANABO CITY, DAVAO
(c) BENCHMARKING OF DCC TEACHERS, CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY ON SEPTEMBER 7, 2017;
(d) SYNCHRONIZED FAMILY DAY, ALL DAY CARE CENTERS OF BARANGAY NORTH POB. ON
SEPT.15,2017
(e) DCC TEACHERS SEMINAR ON NEW CURRICULUM IN CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, SEPTEMBER 28,
2017

6. ADJOURNMENT. HON. JOHN ANDRE G. LALAAN, closed the 3RD quarter BCPC MEETING with a short prayer and
short remarks, EXTENDING his gratitude to everyone. The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 noon as moved by MRS.
DARWINDA B. PASULOJAN, seconded by MRS. LETICIA G. PAULICAN.
RESOLVE THAT copies of the MINUTES of the 3RD QUARTER MEETING of the BCPC be furnished to all offices concerned and
that the original copy be filed in the 2017 BCPC QUARTERLY MEETING FOLDER.
