Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints.

This is one of the most valuable lines everyone learned during the Rinconada Wide BSP
Encampment held at Baao Central School last November 24-26, 2017. It was a two-day
camping activity participated by different scouters of the Fifth District. Santiago
YoungElementary School actively joined the said activity. Participated by Five adult leaders and
10 Boyscouts.

The standing of tents and the building of camp gates happened on the firstday. This was followed
by a torch parade of different South district schools.Afterwards, the program started with a
prayer and the recitation of the Scout’sOath and Law. Some members of the Division BSP
training Team gave their inspiring message and officially opened the encampment activity. The
scouters took a break for a while as they enjoyed their dinner. Then, they headed back to the
stage to show their most prized talents. Everyone prepared on the next day for the games. On the
last day ofthe encampment, the awarding ceremony and closing program took place. It was a
meaningful experience for everyone who participated in the activity.Truly, it embodied the
theme of nurturing nature through camping.
