December 01-02,2023

NARRATIVE REPORT
Scouting is a value-laden activity that is a very important part of students' lives.
It builds a character that is useful to the community and the society. It imparts learning
and teaches skills that are useful in daily life. The learning that is taught in scouting helps
the individual student to be fruitful and beneficial in nation-building.
To make scouting enjoyable, the scouting activities are thoroughly prepared so
that the scouters will not forget the experiences that they will encounter during the
camping activities. Every preparation from the opening op to the campfire celebration is
unique in that it makes the scouting activity a well-remembered activity for the students.
Since scouting is integrated as part of school activities, Amado M.Pitogo
Memorial School is conforming to the instructions from the higher authorities. The Joint
BSP-GSP School Based Backyard Camping was participated by 54 Boy Scouts and 34
Girl Scouts.
The students were required to clean up the community as one of the values
inculcated in scouting. The celebration was highlighted with games on December 01-
02,2023 where scouts involved themselves in drill activities and cooking. In the evening
the search for Lakambini and Lakandula which facilitated by Glacy Jane Malolot.
Everyone also participated in the campfire. It was a lifetime success since some of the
students witnessed the campfire for the first time.
