ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY

TOPIC: Will a hope to limit distraction during lessons, mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches
will be largely banned from classroom in some countries.
Do you agree or disagree with the statements?

At the present, when mobiles, tablets, and smartwatches are becoming development, there are
many people especially students who spend too much time using them. Therefore, in some
countries, some people think that mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches should be banned
from the classroom. However, I believe that students can use them for studying and finding
some new information.

To begin with, some people, especially adults, think that students use mobile phones, tablets,
and smartwatches to surf some social networks like Facebook, Zalo or Instagram all time. That
distracts learning and causes distraction in the lessons. That is not good for studying of them in
class. It is not correct totally. Many students in class use them to find information about the
lesson or how to solve some problems in Mathematic or other subjects. That help them better
understand the lesson and learn by heart faster.

Moreover, people believe that mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches cause lazy thinking,
limited creativity and poor thinking. That distracts them from leaning and they can also feel
bored studying. Children are the future of the country, so it is a pretty serious matter. It is
absolutely right that mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches are banned from the classroom.
However, the fact that there are many students who use them suitably can learn better, acquire
lessons faster and become smarter. They can solve the problem quickly and remember better
through using mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches.

Finally, I think that mobiles, tablets, and smartwatches cannot be banned from the classroom.
They are very necessary for students. They can help students with solving many problems like
exercises, how to calculate an exercise about mathematics,… Besides, students can also find the
information about the lessons. There are some difficult lessons, they can learn them again by
using the Internet. That is good for them.
In conclusion, mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches are necessary for students in class so it
cannot be banned from the classroom. But I think they should use them appropriately.
