Abstract

This abstract outlines my personal experience as an engineering student during

the On-the-Job Training (OJT) at Cotabato Regional and Medical Center (CRMC) from
June 30 to August 11. The primary objective of this OJT was to provide hands-on
exposure to real-world engineering applications within a medical center setting.

Throughout the OJT period, I had the privilege of learning under the guidance of
experienced engineers, including Engr. Danilo Padas, the Program Head of our school,
and Engineer Juliano. Their mentorship was instrumental in helping me bridge the gap
between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation, significantly enhancing
my understanding of various engineering concepts.

The training encompassed a diverse array of projects, ranging from the

maintenance of crucial medical equipment to the management of complex facility
systems. Engaging with cutting-edge technologies and collaborating closely with CRMC's
interdisciplinary team allowed me to gain valuable insights and contribute meaningfully
to the optimization of hospital operations.

The collaborative atmosphere among fellow interns and colleagues played a

pivotal role in creating a positive and conducive learning environment. The constant
exchange of ideas, collaborative problem-solving sessions, and the mutual sharing of
knowledge added depth to my learning experience.

Importantly, the impact of this OJT experience extends far beyond the training
period itself. The practical skills I acquired and the relationships I forged are poised to
shape my future career in engineering. The CRMC OJT has equipped me with invaluable
practical insights that are certain to be assets as I transition from my academic journey
to the professional world of engineering
