Digital transformation is the process of using digital technologies to create new — or modify
existing — business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing business and
market requirements.
Six core components of digital transformation are described below by considering Kohinoor
Chemical Company Ltd.
I) Business Design and Management: Continuous approach to assigning the business
model, operating model and execution of that model against the strategic and
financial objectives of the business and the dynamic market environment.
II) Leadership and Engagement: Employ rigorous cultural alignment and change
management constructs throughout all levels of the organisation. Provide structure,
centralized management of the transformation program.
III) Organization Design: Develop flexible value chain-oriented capability constructs
leveraging leading sourcing, process, information and technology architecture. Any
digital transformation will have to involve logistics. Examine the speed at which it
gets products to its customers.
IV) Information and Technology Engagement: Enable business and process design and
management with data and analytics and leading technologies.
V) Process Excellence: Leverage enterprise process governance and lean design
principles to design and implement high performing process and data integration.

development and execution of the transformation including customer focused and
personalization.
