Leadership

Not one person is the leader, everyone is (it’s a non-hierarchical space)

Rotating organizer-ship (it’s mandatory for all men to be


organizers/facilitators on a rotating basis). The organizer of a
particular gathering is responsible for:

Planning/organizing the gathering well ahead of time;

Announcing the gathering;

Holding the space during the gathering;

Being (or assigning) the timekeeper;

Taking care of any communication after

* Bring your creativity into your facilitator-ship!


Logistics of Circles

FREQUNCY: Could vary from once


per week to once per month

DURATION: Anywhere from 90


minutes to several days

SIZE: Ideal size 6-9 men. The change is


optimal, at the same time still manageable.
Ideal to have a few more men in the
network to compensate for absentees
Inviting new men into the group

If there are men interested to join the circle:

1. First ask consent from ALL current men;

2. Invite the new participant to the space for


one session;

3. If all men feel nourished by the presence


of the new man, welcome him as a group
member.
