• A significant increase in viscosity is obtained, if
TEGO® Betain L 7 is combined with various anionic
surfactants. Viscosities depend on the pH-value
of the formulations; maximum viscosity is
attained in the slightly acid pH-range.

Application
TEGO® Betain L 7 as a very mild surfactant is used in
all kinds of hair and skin cleansing products:
• shampoos
• shower and bath preparations
• liquid soaps
• intimate hygiene solutions

It is generally used in combination with anionic

surfactants in a weight/weight ratio of 1 : 3 to 1 : 4
(TEGO® Betain L 7 to anionic, related to active
matter).
