Parts of the Transformer

Question

A Transformer is a static electrical machine which transfers AC electrical

power from one circuit to the other circuit at the constant frequency, but the
voltage level can be altered that means voltage can be increased or decreased
according to the requirement. The diagram of the transformer is shown in the
Figure below. Answer the following questions:

a. Write down the names of each part of the transformer.

b. Briefly explain each part of the transformer as mentioned in the diagram.
c. Why do we use these parts in the transformer? (Write down the reason of
each part separately).
