MDRRMC EMERGENCY MEETING

UPDATES ON THE CURRENT SITUATION IN THE AOR
(August 03, 2023)

SUMMARY OF THE ACTIVITY

Through the leadership of the Municipal Mayor and MDRRMC Chairman Hon. Elmer R. Soria, the
Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (MDRRMC) conducted an emergency council
meeting at San Marcelino Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office - Emergency Operations
and Command Center.
Mr. Arsenio Edar C. Mauricio III Presented a Rapid Damage Assessment and Need Analysis (RDANA)
Report. He also presented the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Memorandum Order
No. 60 Series of 2019 or The Revised Guidelines for the Declaration of State of Calamity. After the
presentation, On the motion of Hon. SBM Manuel Arquero Jr. SBM Committee on Disaster to Declare the State
of Calamity in the Municipality of San Marcelino which was duly seconded by the council members.
MDRRMC Chairman Hon. Elmer R. Soria approved the motion and declared the State of Calamity in San
Marcelino.

OBJECTIVE

1. To discuss the initial needs on health, food, protection, and repair of damages and Initial actions taken
by the Local Government Unit of San Marcelino.
2. To discuss the guidelines for the declaration of a state of calamity.
