Dear Sir,
Re: Your Letter dated [●] to me
As owners of the premises bearing [●]
In continuation to our letter dated [●] we state as under,
1. We are dealers and traders in grains and other grocery products carrying on business
since the last four decades. Our Property in Rameshwar Bhavan stores about [●] kgs
of grains valuing in aggregate at Rs. [●]. Our entire business depends upon the
meticulous preservation and storage of our products for us to be able to supply the
best quality to our customers. The shared wall currently acts as a protective barrier,
shielding my Property from rain, humidity, pests and other external and
environmental factors that could cause damage to the stored grains. Demolishing the
wall would expose my grain storage to the risks of spoilage and deterioration
jeopardizing the quality and integrity of my entire grain inventory and thus causing
significant monetary loss, loss of business, customer dissatisfaction exacerbating the
situation.

2. The iron angles nailed into the wall on my side are essential reinforcements, installed
at my costs to provide necessary support to the wall, ensuring its stability and
longevity. If the wall were to be demolished the restoration of the iron angles would
be an absolute necessity to maintain the structural safety and stability of my property.

3. The Window frames affixed into the wall serve both aesthetic and functional purposes
providing vital support for the windows and enhancing the overall appearance of my
property. The same would have to be replaced by new frames by investing more
monies, manpower and resources.

4. The Tiling laid out on my side of the wall enhances the appeal and value of my
property. The same would also be reduced to dust in the event of demolition of the
wall and would have to be undertaken afresh at additional costs.
In addition to the visible damage and destruction as stated above, demolishing the wall could
potentially lead to several other unforeseen issues, including structural damage, and increased
risks of water damage or flooding during heavy rains.
As the owner of the property, your proposed demolition of the shared wall poses a significant
threat to my property and financial interests. Given the potential damages and expenses
associated with restoring the iron angles, window frames tiling and other necessary structures
on my side, I find it imperative to request an interest free Security Deposit of Rs. [●]
(“Security Deposit”) as a measure to protect my interests. You may please note that we do
not consent to or grant any permission or no objection to the demolition of the wall,
without have received the security deposit as mentioned hereinabove.

In addition to the aforesaid, we also request you to mark the [●] Society in all the
correspondence regarding the proposed demolition of the wall. The Society’s Consent is also
required to ensure compliance with the applicable laws.
