    A Camera Obscura in Latin means “dark chamber,” it’s an early version of a camera that
    helped lay the foundation for photography . It is a simple optical device that projects an
    upside-down image of the external world onto a surface inside a darkened room or box,
    using a small hole or aperture. A small hole or opening allows light to enter. This light
    projects an inverted image of the outside world onto a surface, like a wall, inside the dark
    room.
