NATURE OF INCIDENT
The vehicle has suffered light to moderate collision/impact damage to the right hand rear.

ENGINEER'S COMMENTS
The valuation takes into account the mileage, condition and the vehicle is a previous insurance write off.

A geometry test has been included in the repair costs due to the proximity of the damage to the rear right wheel. Upon
completion further costs could be incurred.

COST OF REPAIRS
No estimate has been obtained for repairing the vehicle but, subject to further damage found during dismantling,
we have calculated the time involved in such a repair using Glass's Repair Estimate and we consider that a
reasonable labour charge would be £400.00. The cost of the paint and materials would be £645.52, The cost of the
replacement parts would be approximately £617.84, The specialist/sundry charges would be £388.01, and the VAT
liability on the total would amount to some £410.27 giving a total repair cost of £2,461.64 including VAT, plus an
outstanding recovery charge of £360.00, The labour charge is based on 8 hours at a rate of £50.00 per hour. If
additional damage is found on dismantling, then the repair costs may increase.
Note: We are advised storage charges are accruing at a rate of £27.50 per day.

UNRELATED DAMAGE
We noted the following damage on the vehicle which does not appear to relate to the claim under review and we have
therefore classed it as unrelated damage; Various marks.

PRE-INCIDENT CONDITION
The vehicle was found to be in good condition for its age and type.

PRE-INCIDENT VALUE
According to the information available to us the vehicle was first registered in 20/07/2017. The corresponding Glass's
Guide retail value for vehicles of this type and age in the July 2023 guide is £11,350.00 at 52207 Miles, trade value is
£9,710.00. We place the pre-accident value of this particular vehicle at £9,080.00 bearing in mind the condition
described herein.

RESERVE
We consider that a repair reserve of £2,475.00 would be reasonable on this occasion.

INSTRUCTIONS ISSUED
As no estimate has yet been obtained to repair the vehicle we have not been able to authorise repairs. Once an
estimate is available we would be pleased to discuss the method and repair schedule with the chosen repairer and
agree costs on your behalf, if required.

ROADWORTHY STATE
In our opinion this vehicle was not roadworthy at the time of our inspection as a result of the damage sustained. We
understand that the vehicle is not currently being used by the owner.

TEMPORARY REPAIRS
We suggest that it would not be practical to consider cost effective temporary repairs on this occasion to make this
vehicle roadworthy.

In preparing this report I confirm that I understand my overriding duty to the court and confirm I have complied with
that duty. I confirm that I have made clear which facts and matters referred to in this report are within my own
knowledge and which are not. Those that are within my own knowledge I confirm to be true. The opinions I have
expressed represent my true and complete professional opinions on the matters to which they refer.

This report relates to damage sustained by the above vehicle in an RTC. Kaizen Law Solicitors commissioned this
