Creating a multimedia presentation using a presentation software
1. Open a multimedia slide presentation type a title and subtitle in a textbox.
Choose the appropriate slide design
2. Add animation to the text by clicking the animations tab from the menu.
Click and choose the animation style such as entrance, emphasis and exit
3. Customize the animation by clicking animation pane on the set trigger,
effects options and trimming.
4. Add another slide to place the graphics. Click insert tab from the menu
5. Click on picture to insert photo file. Choose the file you want to insert
6. Try adding a clip art to the slide
7. Move the clip art with the slide
8. You can also copy a screen image of another opened file or webpage by
clicking the screenshot icon
9. Choose the open screen to capture

Using a movie making software to create a multimedia presentation.
1. Launch the movie making software. Familiarize yourself with the movie creator
interface.
2. Click on each menu tab to find out the features of the movie maker software.
3. Add pictures, videos to the keyboard by clicking add videos and buttons. You
must have a ready picture saved in your computer. Noticed that the story board
pane will be populated with pictures.
Importing videos, pictures audio or music
a. Select the file in the menu bar and click import media in the taskbar to
import video, pictures, audio or music into the movie maker
b. Navigate on the file and the click open. It will take you a little longer to
import depending on the file size. The clips will be displayed in the
contents pane and ready for editing.
To cut some time from the clip, right click the audio track and click the
trim command in the dialog box. Set the start time you want the audio to
begin with and set the end time where you want to end with. Click ok. This
is a process trimming.
4. Arrange the pictures according to the sequence you want them to appear on the
video. Click the drag pictures to their appropriate positions.
5. You may click play in the preview pane every now and then to check on the
changes made.
6. Add a theme on your video which automatically apply animations and effects
on your video. Use this on the if you want to get a quick result. Try to click on
the icons and see what changes happen to your video.
7. Add text to the video by clicking any of the icons title, caption, create and
observes the difference among the three. Customize the text.
8. If you want to customize the effects and animations, click on the animations.
Apply transitions and pan and zoom effect on each or all pictures.
9. You can also add effects to any parts of the video. Click on the visual effects
add mood and dramatic level
10. Add music to enhance video. Click add music.
11. Save your work for future editing.Once the project was finalized . click on the
icon save movie and select appropriate format.
