2. BARONG TAGALOG - is an embroidered long-sleeved formal shirt for men and a


national dress of the Philippines.
BARO’T SAYA - is a traditional dress ensemble worn by women in the Philippines.
It is a national dress of the Philippines and combines elements from both the
precolonial native Filipino and colonial Spanish clothing styles
BALINTAWAK – is a subvariant of baro’t saya that is its casual and cocktail dress
version

1. Costumes of Filipino are typically folk designs and native design that our Philippines
can be proud of.
2. They Lapay Bantique is a mimetic dance that refers to lapay or sea gulls which are
bountiful in Bantique, a coastal province of Masbate. Similar to the Kalapati (dove)
and Itik-itik (ducks), it copies the movements of the gulls like overly bending back till
the head is near the floor
3. Mimicking is to copy something or imitate (someone or their actions or words),
especially in order to entertain or ridicule.
