Step 2 : Structure the Introductory Paragraph

• Start from a broader area

• Narrow down your focus gradually

• Specify your focus in the last

sentence
Step 3 : Write the Paragraphs

• 1 Paragraph = 1 Main Idea

• Use the 1st sentence to introduce the main idea

• Write at least 3 sentences to explain or exemplify the main idea

• Use the last sentence to summarize the main idea discussed in the

paragraph
 Step 4 : Conclude
• Summarise all the main points discussed in the body paragraphs

• Do NOT write any new ideas
