Direct people consultation has been part of the core missions of the Office of the Board Member
Hon. Karla Monica C. Adajar-Lajara. The office firmly believes that our constituents are the
same people who can narrate their experiences and struggles that are in need of interventions
and specific solutions. Moreover, the involvement to solve these problems must come not just
from our office but with the help of other offices and agencies that can partake with us in helping
these people who are in need.

We are currently drafting a specific ordinance that will definitely help our fellow Lagunense. It
has been our initiative to consult different offices that have the expertise in specific sectors
wherein we can fully grasp their needs and understand their capabilities so that we can draft a
cohesive and concise ordinance to help them in the future. The meeting will revolve around the
SSS Coverage for the Job Order Employees and Barangay Volunteers.

With that, the Office of the Board Member Hon. Karla Monica C. Adajar-Lajara would like to
invite you for a meeting in our office for us to have some insightful exchange regarding this
matter and our future plans on July 3, 2023, 10:00 AM.

The benefit of this cause will redound to the job order employees and barangay employees who
do not have GSIS coverage for them to be ready for their retirement.
