Dear Dr. Biyo,

Warm Greetings!

I am John Paul E. Paa, a 2nd year DOST-ASTHRDP Scholar currently studying MSES program
of UP Visayas Tacloban College. I am writing this letter to humbly request the release of SRSF
Grant.

I already conducted the first part of my thesis last April, 2023 and will be conducting the second
part this coming 1st week of June, 2023. My study demands a significant amount of funds as I
need to travel by land, across the sea, and stay on an island. The sampling effort requires days
to be finished due to the number of sites and replicates in the study.

I have completed all the necessary requirements and have submitted all the necessary
documents to support my eligibility for the grant. I understand that there may be several other
students requesting for grants, but I would be grateful if my request could be given priority due
to my financial constraints.

I appreciate your time and consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you soon regarding
the release of the grant.
