The embellishment of
exaggerated techniques

At one side, Vivian sees

the gut to change, and it is
even harder to start a
movement for revolution,

I’m worried that talking
about it too much might
make me look suspicious
even though me being the
creator of Moxie is about
as likely as me visiting the
International Space
Station or inventing the
cure for cancer in my
chem class. At least that’s
what the people who
know me would say.
I’m not sure if I expected
anything to come of it.
Maybe it’s all over now.
Maybe making Moxie was
just a way to vent.

Chapter 18 Dark night, calm scene,

snake. And when I slipped
on a hoodie this morning
before distributing the
copies, I felt like a soldier

determined to succeed no
matter what. The anger
was enough to make me
almost forget what a
treacherous position I was
putting myself in.
As I watch Lucy spin and
knock her dark curls
around, and as I listen to
Claudia laugh and sing
along (badly), it occurs to
me that this is what it
means to be a feminist.
Not a humanist or an
equalist or whatever. But
a feminist. It’s not a bad
word. After today it might
that march madness isn’t
an activity that a normal
person could come up
with, the person who
come up with this system
is totally a pervert and
sexist. I’m also very
curious about how moxie
would stop March
Madness since the moxie
club will be closed by the
school soon.
Chapter 20 The use of simile made

Chapter 22 Vivian has deeply fallen
