Sy is older, lonely but nice and always smiling man,
who works in a supermarket in the photo section for
20 years. His job is printing photos from the camera
film. He really loves his work, he thinks that what he
does is very important for „his” customers and he is
professional in his field. This job is actually all he has,
this is his all life. He starts work early in the morning
and finishes it in the evening, after work he comes
back to his empty apartment where he just watches
TV.
But Sy’s smile hides his deep and horrible secret. He has
an obsession, he prints and collects extra set of photos
from one of his client Nina Yorkin and her family. He has a
whole wall of their photos at his apartment, since they
first met at the store. During his free time he drives up to
Nina’s house and observes them just doing everyday stuff.
He visualizes himself like a member of the family who
lives with them and who is always present in their daily
life as a Jake’s (Nina’s son) uncle.
