COURSE GUIDE & CONTENT

Course 1 - Data Analytics

➔ Course Description: This course provides both foundational and


intermediate overview of the data analysis process which entails data
collection, wrangling, analysis, and presentation.
➔ Course Objectives: After the course, attendants will know how to collect
data in a time-efficient manner, organize and collate databases, analyze,
and draw insights from large datasets, present data in an easy-to-access
format and tell a story with data.
➔ Course Tools: Excel, Power BI and SQL.

Course 2 - Business Analytics

➔ Course Description: This course will cover both foundational and


intermediate overview of the business analytics process which includes:
problem definition and objective setting, data collection and preparation,
exploratory data analysis, data modeling and analysis, interpretation,
dashboard creation and insight generation, and communication and
visualization.
➔ Course Objectives: After completing this course, participants will be able
to understand the fundamentals of business analytics, data science, and
machine learning. Have the skills to use business analytics techniques to
solve real-world business problems and make data-driven decisions.
➔ Course tools: Tableau, Google Analytics, and SAS Business Analytics.

Course 3 - Data Visualization and Infographics

➔ Course description: The Data Visualization and Infographics course


introduces participants to the art and science of visually representing data
to convey insights and tell compelling stories. Through this course,
participants will learn effective techniques and tools for creating visually
appealing and informative data visualizations and infographics; explore

principles of design, color theory, and storytelling to transform complex
datasets into clear, engaging, and impactful visual narratives. Participants
will gain hands-on experience in using popular data visualization software
and will develop the skills needed to effectively communicate data-driven
insights through visually compelling graphics.
➔ Course Objectives: Upon completion of the course, participants will have
the ability to create impactful data visualizations and infographics that
effectively communicate complex information, engage audiences, and
facilitate data-driven decision-making.
➔ Course Tools: Excel, Google Charts, and Tableau.

Course 4 - UI and UX Designs

➔ Course description: The UI and UX Design course provides participants


with the essential knowledge and skills to design user-centric and visually
appealing digital experiences. This course focuses on understanding user
behavior, creating intuitive user interfaces (UI), and delivering exceptional
user experiences (UX). Participants will explore user research
methodologies, learn interface design principles, and master prototyping
techniques.
➔ Course Objectives: By the end of the course, participants will have the
skills and knowledge to create user-centered, engaging and visually
appealing UI designs across various digital platforms, while considering
the overall user experience. They will be equipped to contribute to the
design and development of intuitive and engaging digital products and
interfaces.
➔ Course Tools: Figma, Adobe XD, and Adobe Illustrator.

Course 5 - Mobile Data Collection

➔ Course description: The Mobile Data Collection course equips


participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively collect
data using mobile devices. The course covers the use of mobile
technologies and applications to streamline data collection processes,
improve data accuracy, and enhance data accessibility. Participants will

learn practical techniques for designing mobile data collection forms,
managing data collection projects, and utilizing mobile data collection
tools.
➔ Course Objectives: At the end of this course, participants will have the
necessary skills to effectively design, implement, and manage mobile
data collection projects, enabling them to gather accurate and timely data
using mobile devices. Through hands-on exercises and case studies,
participants will gain practical experience in leveraging mobile technology
for efficient and reliable data collection.
