Scene 1

Narrator : Once upon a time, there was a lazy boy, named Omar.
Omar : Hi, I’m Omar.
: I’m a lazy boy.
: I don’t like to work. Urrrrgh! I want to play. I want to
sleep.
Sheep : Mbeeeekk.. Mbeeeekk.
Omar : Aaaarrgh! Silent you stinky sheep. Wolf! Wolf! Please eat
my sheep.

Scene 2

Narrator :The next day, Omar went fishing by the lake.


Omar : I’m happy today. La la la la la
: I will catch a big fish. Yeeeehaaa!
Wishing fish : Aucchh! My pouty lips. Help!
Omar : What? You can talk?
Wishing fish : I’m a wishing fish. Please let me go. I will grant your wish.
Omar : Really? Hmm. Hmm. Then please make all my sheep
disappear and never come back forever!

Scene 3

Narrator : The wishing fish granted Omar’s wish. The weather was
scorching hot. The water dried up. The sheep were all
died.
Omar : La la la la (singing happily)
Omar : Mom, dad. Why are you sad?
Mother : Our sheep died.
Father : No more wool to sell.
Omar : What? This is all my fault! I’m sorry mom, dad. I
will fix our problem. I will catch the wishing fish
again. I promise you.
Note : Pupils have read the story with teacher prior to the lesson.
