ABSTRACT

Ecotourism has the potential to play a significant role in the unorganized

sector, particularly for individuals. This industry was deemed environmentally

friendly tourism since it is so inextricably related to the human psyche that

humanity could not exist without it.

The researchers used a descriptive method of research. On sampling

method, the researchers used purposive sampling. One-way ANOVA and t-test

were also used to determine the null hypothesis of ecological tourism during the

new normal in Antipolo City.

Majority of the respondents belong to the age bracket 18 - 25 years old;

most of them are female, single and commonly visited Cita Verde. While on the

perception of the respondents they agreed on ecological tourism during the new

normal in Antipolo City with respect to carrying capacity, protection and

management, local benefits and sustainable tourism.

Generally, the assessment of the respondents reveals that there is no

significant difference in the perception of the respondents on ecological tourism

during the new normal in Antipolo City in terms of age, sex and civil status. While

visiting ecotourism spots has significant differences. .

The researchers recommended that ecological tourist spots should

enhance the marketing strategies like other social media sites for awareness and

encouragement on conservation and promotion of these ecological sites and

develop infrastructure that can help in the conservation of natural, cultural and

built resources.
