“Evaluation of Environmental Tourism Industry Project of Antipolo City”

This study aims to evaluate the Environmental Tourism Industry Project of

Antipolo City. Using a questionnaire as a research design, the researchers used

survey checklist and were then conducted to the 7 employee of Antipolo City

Culture, Arts and Tourism Promotion Office. In the first part of the questionnaire

checklist it enumerates the strategies being practiced of AnCCATPO. In the second

part it identifies the advantages of Eco Tourism to Antipolo City. In the third part it

comprises the disadvantages of Eco Tourism to Antipolo City. Lastly, the evaluation

of AnCCATPO employees to the interview question of environmental tourism

industry project of Antipolo City.

The data gathered were statistically analyzed through frequency and

percentage and presented in a table.

The results were as follows: the projects of AnCCATPO such as the

restoration of Hinulugang Taktak, and is the YES To GREEN PROGRAM this

project has three components namely: GREENING the environment, CLEANING

the environment and RECYCLING, embodying the aim to address environmental

issues of waste management, clogged water tributaries, deforested mountains and

watersheds. All the said projects were successful due to the hardworking employees

of the office, but there were some problems they face like emergencies, lack of time

and the major problem that they are facing is the lack of budget given to them for the

promotion of Antipolo. The employees are making their best to give the community

of Antipolo City the best projects with a limited money.
