Instructions for Plagiarism check

The Kerala University Library provides plagiarism checking service vide U.O No. 2963/Admn
A V/2021/UOK dated 09.05.2021 to the Research Scholars of the University of Kerala using
Ouriginal (Urkund), the plagiarism detection software prescribed by UGC, to detect the similar
textual content already published in various information sources.

The Research Scholars are requested to consider the following guidelines

1. Download the format for plagiarism check certificate, fill the necessary columns and
submit along with the softcopy of the thesis.
2. Pay an amount of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as fee for plagiarism check in
the cash counter of the University of Kerala and submit the receipt (pay-in-slip) along
with the thesis.
3. The soft copy of the thesis has to be in word (doc or docx) or pdf format in CD or USB
device or send to the e-mail: kulibplagiarismcheck@gmail.com
4. Thesis covering all the chapters from introduction to bibliography/references shall be
in a single file, excluding preliminary pages (declaration, acknowledgement, abstract,
list of charts and abbreviations, table of contents, etc.) and appendices (glossary, index,
questionnaire, etc.)
5. Certificate will be issued by the University Librarian
