“A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE 3-YEAR BARANGAY

DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN (BDRRMP) AND
BUDGET FOR C.Y. 2020-2022 OF NURCIA, LANUZA, SURIGAO DEL SUR.”

Whereas, the local government unit mandates per barangay to create its
Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (BDRRMP) and budget
for C.Y. 2020-2022;

Whereas, the BDRRM plan will serve as guide for barangay officials in
implementing DRRM/CCA Programs, projects and activities towards a disaster-
free barangay;

Whereas, the MDRRMO and Action Against Hunger facilitated a BDRRMP

Enhancement sessions using the newly adopted CBDRRM template
recommended by DILG because of its quality benchmarks;
Whereas, the barangay seen the need to enhance the existing BDRRM Plan to be
more inclusive and comprehensive;

Whereas, the Barangay Council during the Regular Sessions last De cember 16,
2019 created a medium-term Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management Plan and Budget covering the period of 2020 to 2022 for the
implementation of priorities and programs as well as its budgetary requirement
and support;

NOW THEREFORE:

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved adopting and approving the Barangay

Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (BDRRMP) and Budget for C.Y.
2020-2022 of Barangay Nurcia, Lanuza, Surigao del Sur;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that the copies of this resolution be furnished to the office of
the MDRRMO, Mr. Artemio Cinco MDRRMO of Lanuza, Surigao del Sur and other
offices concerned for their information and guidance.

Adopted and approved this 16th day of December 2019 on motion of Kagawad
Nicandro P. Borja and duly seconded by all members present.
