This agency is the first requirements in building a business like store or any other
large, small and micro enterprises to make your business legal and had proven that
your business is permitted to sell good.

DTI Registration

-for registering your business trade name (BTR)

DTI is a very common agency in building a business. This agency is responsible

to ensure that you’re selling a good quality product. This also prohibits the business to
sell products or good that weren’t approved by the governments.

Mayor’s Business Permit

-for getting the license to operate in the City or Municipality and for the payments of
your local business taxes.

After passing those two mentioned agencies, there’s another permit we should
pass. This Mayor’s Business Permit helps you to prove that your business is legitimate
and is not selling low, cheap and out of standard products and services.
BIR Registration

-for getting TIN, official receipts and invoices, registering your books of accounts and
paying your national internal revenue taxes (Income Taxes, VAT or Percentage Tax,

BIR is one of the most important permit in our business. We must have this
permits for us to be able to pay the required taxes for your business.

SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-ibig Fund Registration

-for registering yourself and the company as an employer and for remitting your
employees’ contribution together with your employer’s share.

This permit will help us ensure the employees’ as well as the employer’s
contributions and share. They offered loans and other services that may cover the
employees’ or the employer’s life

b.) Economic Condition

ECONOMIC FACTORS IN BUSINESS

As a previously mentioned Economic Factors are included in one of the bread-and-

butter techniques of business analysis – PEST Analysis. This is because it plays a very
large role in a company or business how they decide especially on the financial ones.

RELEVANT ARTICLE: SOCIAL FACTORS AFFECTING BUSINESS

Economic factors are connected with goods, services, and money. The reason for this is
that the state of the economy can decide many of the important details that come up in
an operating company, including topics such as consumer demand, taxes and asset
value.
EXAMPLES OF ECONOMIC FACTORS AFFECTING BUSINESS INCLUDES:
-Consumers Behavior
-Employment Factors
-Interest Rates
-Inflation
-Taxes
-Demand/Supply
Let’s take a look into those examples, to see how exactly it affect business…

CONSUMER BEHAVIOUR

-Consumer behavior involves examining what products certain types of consumer buy
and when and how consumers decide among products. As a businessman or
entrepreneur understanding how your customer’s buy your products and services will
help you grow your business by responding to their needs.

EMPLOYMENT FACTORS

-National job growth, recessions and the ability to look for employment could affects
worker turnovers and retention. Also, changes in consumer taste can affect demand for
the product or services your company provides, which could lead to layoffs or mass
hiring that could affect the company’s employment rate.

INTEREST RATES

-An increase in interest rates can affect a business in two ways: customers with debts
have less income to spend because they are paying more interest to lenders. Sales fall
as a result. Firms with overdrafts will have higher costs because they must now pay
more interest.
INFLATION

-Inflation can affect a business in the following ways: Fixed rate loans will become less
costly to repay under higher future inflation. Borrowing cost for new loans will likely
trigger central bank’s monetary tightening.

TAXES

-Taxation Policy affect business costs. For example, a rise in corporation tax has same
effects or an increase in costs. A rise in interest rates raises the costs to business of
borrowing money, and also causes consumers to reduce expenditure.

DEMAND/SUPPLY

-If there is a decrease in supply of goods and services while demand remains the same,
prices tend to rise to a higher equilibrium price and a lower quantity of goods and
services. However, when demand increases and supply remains the same the higher
the demands lead to a higher equilibrium price and vice versa.

ECONOMIC FACTORS AFFECTING ANTHROPOLOGIES

 Anthropologies targets wealthy market, so they can afford to make a unique

pricing approach that is suitable to that specific economy.
 The rise in global development and worldwide increase in GDP (Gross Domestic
Product) means that their target market is gradually growing.
 On the other hand, the global development might increase labor and material
costs in less economically countries where their products are manufactured
(meaning low profits)

c.) Socio – cultural Conditions

In this part we will explain, what are the factors that culture could affect the business
based on taste costumer needs:
HEALTH CONSCIOUS

-Now a day’s people is health conscious especially when they eat delicious food.
People prefer on a healthier food so as a businessman or entrepreneur, we must
consider this factor and we must sell products that are good in their health.

RELIGIOUS CULTURES

-Philippines is composed of many religions that could affect the business to its
customers. Some are basing in the tradition they are following. The businessman or
entrepreneur must consider this factors and sell products that are suitable and that can’t
affect their beliefs.

FOREIGN FOODS

-Foreign foods or their delicacies like Korean and Chinese and others are very particular
in our places but we need to remember that there are lots of Filipino foods they don’t
like so we should consider them. As a wise businessman or entrepreneur we offer them
some foods that they wanted like shanghai or anything else.

d. Technological Conditions

As we try to look closely, our environment is fast developing along with our
technologies. We observed that having these technologies, people became lazy and
mostly preferred buying online stores. They rather buy those products and services
online because it is more convenient and hassle free. This might be a great help to the
business, considering that many people are now using technologies as their marker
place. This condition might help the business grow its popularity rates because it can
now be seen around the world with use of social media or other advertising firms.

As a business owners, I would take this breakthrough as an opportunity to help my

business grow and its popularity to increase. I can make use of the technology to help
me increase my market sales. This might help me grow my business into a large
enterprise since the people nowadays are fan of using technology. I would like to take
this opportunity and consider the technology as a big help in my business.
B. INDUSTRIAL ANALYSIS

SWOT ANALYSIS

-This business is a Restaurant, we conclude to build a business in that area where there
are many stores, as an entrepreneur or researcher we choose to build a restaurant in
this place because this business will be suitable for the people who need a very unique
and clean process or places of the products.

a. SUPPLY AND DEMAND

-As what we have observe during our survey, the places are needing a food restaurant
like this because this place having a large population but less of food house are clean,
nearby the demand is present but less restaurant. So as a businessman or
entrepreneur we conclude to build a business like this here in this place because as we
sum- up all this would be a successful in this area.

b. Competition

Karenderya

A karenderya is quite the same as what we are offering but it is considering to be as a

small enterprise since these eatery requires or had less than 5 members or employees.
We observed that in this area, many small eatery (karenderya) are present. These
eatery might possibly affect our business. These might decrease our sales and lessen
our target income. We know that they preferred to eat in those eatery since it was there
before us, they already gained the customers loyalty. We know that this is a risk,
competing those eatery but we assure that our products and services are way better
than them. We can assure that upon choosing us, you will never regret.
