1. What do you think the purpose of standardized testing is? (2 points) I think a

Standardized Test is a test that is required for everyone to take.

2. What are your concerns about taking standardized tests? (2 points) My only

concern is will I be able to pass the test.

3. Which section of standardized tests would you feel the most confident taking:

English, math, science, reading, or writing? Why? (2 points) Math because math

is one of my favorite subjects and it’s the easiest subject to me.

4. Do you think taking pretests to prepare you for standardized tests for college

admission is necessary? Why? (2 points) Yes, because they can see what you

know and don’t know.

5. Are you familiar with the Aspire preparatory tests for the ACT, or the PSAT for

the SAT? The PSAT because it prepares students for the ACT and the SAT.

Which one would you be interested in taking? Why? (2 points) PSAT because it
helps students see what they actually know and don’t know about the ACT or

the SAT.
