Greetings!

As proclaimed Mayor of the Municipality of Pagsanjan, Laguna occurred last May 09, 2022 National and
Local elections, I respectfully request the Department of Agriculture through your honourable office to
give emphasis to our proposed project of Concreting Farm to- Market Roads in 9 Barangays of our
Municipality. Below are the list of the Barangays and the area they are hoping that the Farm to- Market
Roads will be established:

1. Brgy. San Isidro – Sitio Laguna

2. Brgy. Binan – Sitio Tabing Ilog
3. Brgy. Calusiche – Purok Tres and Purok Uno
4. Brgy. Sampaloc – Familia Homes to Public Market and DA Road to Public Market
5. Poblacion Uno – Plaza Cabreza
6. Brgy. Dingin – Diowa Purok 4 and Purok Dos Paladin
7. Brgy. Cabanbanan – Sitio Daang Bakal and Sitio Tabing Ilog
8. Brgy. Lambac – Purok Tres
9. Brgy. Magdapio – Sitio Burol, Sitio Ilaya, at Kabilang

Without access to proper transportation, small farmers are belabored with prohibitive costs of bringing
their own produce to the markets. This supposed project will address on why our farmers continue to
suffer from low prices for the product of their hard work despite their harvest. The Farm to- Market
Roads will provide them, particularly in the areas directly served, an opportunity to transport their
produce just as easily and at a lower cost, and in the same manner provide easy access for the
movement of farm inputs and laborers during planting season.
