 Ask about the student’s day

 Show the pictures from the Lesson 1.5 and make them choose from the word box in Exercise 1
 “With the pictures and the words, what do you think is the video about?”
 Play the video: Brighton Language Exchange to the student
 Exercise 3: Decide if the sentences are true or false according to the video
 Exercise 4a: Look at the list of skills and ask the student what will they do in order to improve
these skills. Guide them to towards their answers.

Review: explain that this is a review of the whole unit1

 Exercise 1a: review verb to be in positive and negative

Play audio 1.18 to check answers
 Exercise 2: Review the student about possessive pronouns.
 Exercise 3: Put apostrophe in the underlined words if necessary. Review about contraction by
asking the student why we should or should not put an apostrophe.
 Exercise 4a: Listen to audio 1.19 and complete the table
 Exercise 4c: Listen to audio 1.20 and make them complete the paragraph
 Exercise 5: Listen at the definition and write the word that we are looking for
 Exercise 7a: Make questions according to the prompts. Review about the 5W’s and 1H
