Pre Listening Activity Objective: Introduce students to the topic of the recording.
Activity 1 Ask students to have a look at the pictures below questions a) and b. Ask them to discuss with their respective deskmates about both questions. Give them between 2 and 3 minutes. Activity 2 Ask them to get in groups of four people maximum. Read Instructions aloud. Ask students to discuss the four questions. Give students about 10 minutes to discuss all questions. Give them feedback for the questions they might have.

WHILE LISTENING ACTIVITY


Activity 1 Play the recording for the students. Ask them to listen carefully and identify the main idea. Introduce students to the script and vocabulary words. Familiarize students with new vocabulary.

Activity 2 Play the recording once again Ask students to fill in the gaps using the vocabulary words according to what they hear. Correct the answers with the class by reading the text aloud. You may play the recording for the last time for them to follow the complete script.

POST LISTENING ACTIVITIES


Activity 1
Introduce

the activity to the students by reading the instructions aloud Read and review each word with the class Ask the students to put T for True or F for False where it belongs. Give the students five to 8 minutes to answer Allow them to use a dictionary if necessary Correct the answers with the class Activity 2
Read

the instructions aloud Ask them to discuss with their partner about the picture below. Ask them to discuss about what they want to be in the future. Give them 10 minutes to both activities. Activity 3 Read the instructions aloud. Give them from 10 to 15 minutes to do the activity.
