By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

• Identify the progressive forms.

• Differentiate each of the progressive forms.

• Demonstrate their knowledge of the progressive forms through a role play.

• Apply the progressive forms in sentences.

Instructional Media

• Laptop and LCD projector (40 minutes)

• White board

Activities

• Teacher introduces the general topic and lesson.

• Learners are prepared to watch a video in relation to the lesson.


• Afterwards, the teacher will ask the learners what they have observed regarding the conversations
transpired in the video.

• Teacher highlights meaningful class discussions and interactions.

• Teacher groups the learners into six groups. The task is to demonstrate their understanding of each of
the progressive forms through a role play.

Group 4 - Present Perfect Progressive Tense

Group 5 - Past Perfect Progressive Tense
