CONDITIONS FOR CELL PHONE REPAIRS:

Section A: Warranty
1. A R400.00 labour fee is charged on ALL handsets booked in (excluding Samsung warranty).
2. Liquid / physical damage VOIDS warranty.
3. Tampering with warranty stickers or handset identification stickers VOIDS warranty.
4. Generic accessories VOIDS warranty.
5. A R400 labour fee will be charged if a phone was inspected and the quote is rejected.
6. A software upgrade will ALWAYS be done, therefore, customer should ensure a backup is taken PRIOR to booking in.
7. Proof of purchase must accompany all warranty repairs (no matter how many times booked in).
8. Approximate turnaround time of 3 weeks (Samsung) or 6 weeks (Other) which could take longer due to availability of parts.
9. If a customer would like their handset swapped, THEY must support the request with a letter stating the reasons. Normally only done if in for
third time with the same problem within a short period.
10. Warranty only pertains to original handset.
11. Cosmetics are generally NOT COVERED by warranty.
12. Viruses, lock codes, security codes, passwords, etc. are NOT COVERED by warranty.

Section B: Warranty Voided


1. Should a handset’s warranty be voided, we will quote accordingly and a R400 labour fee will be charged.
2. If the quote is not accepted or the handset is BER (Beyond Economical Repair) then the above fees apply.
3. Liquid damage carries no warranty and we cannot be held responsible should the process of cleaning render the handset “dead” or not the “same
as before”. Ringer, speaker, microphone, charging, keypad, LCD, are the basic functions that deem the handset to be in a working condition
unless otherwise requested by customer.

Section C: Out of #Warranty


1. Minimum of R400.00 labour fee on ALL handsets booked in for repair.
2. Repairs under R400.00 will be carried out automatically.
3. Deposit may be required prior to starting repair.
4. We cannot be held responsible for data loss or is a handset is rendered “dead”, in the event of a software upgrade that is performed.
5. Repairs carry a THREE months warrantee, FROM DATE OF REPAIR, excluding liquid damage.
6. Warranty only covers work done, spares used.
7. Liquid damage carries no warranty and we cannot be held responsible should the process of cleaning render the handset “dead” or “not the same
as before’. Ringer, speaker, microphone, charging, keypad, LCD, are the basic functions that deem the handset to be in a working condition
unless otherwise requested by customer.

Section D: General
1. Under no circumstances are we responsible for data loss on handsets and accessories (INCLUDING SCREEN PROTECTORS)
2. It is the customer’s responsibility to test handset before leaving our premises, especially liquid damaged phones.
3. Goods not collected within 90 days will be sold to defray expenses without contacting customer.
4. No liability accepted for damages to equipment, however incurred, including loss due to fire, theft or any other cause whatsoever.
