How to record your video?

Using WEB Browser

1. Go to info.flip.com and log in.

o If you can't see any groups, make sure you join a group first.
o Join code: bd95104d
2. Decide whether you want to post a video to a topic or post it to your
profile.
o To post to a topic: Select the group and then the topic where
you want to post your video. Then, click Record.
o To post to your profile: In the top left, click Camera.
3. Select the camera mode at the bottom under the Record button .
o Video mode: Record both the video and audio from your
device's camera and microphone. The Flip camera defaults to
this mode.
4. When you're ready to record your video, click Record

Using Mobile Application

1. Open the Flip app.

2. Choose whether you want to post a video to a topic or post it to your
profile.
o To post to a topic: Navigate to the group and topic where you
want to post your video and press the Camera icon at the
bottom.
o To post to your profile: At the bottom, tap the Camera .
▪ Note: When you choose to post to your profile, the
maximum response length you can record is 90 seconds.
3. At the bottom under Record , swipe to select the camera mode.
o Video mode: Record both the video and audio from your
device's camera and microphone. The Flip camera defaults to
this mode.
4. When you're ready, to record your video, tap Record.

How to import or upload a custom video clip?

Using Web Browser

1. Go to info.flip.com and log in.

o If you can't create groups, you may need to take additional
steps. Learn how to find out if you can create groups.
2. Choose whether you want to post the video to a topic or post it to
your profile.
o To post to a topic: Select the group > the topic where you
want to post your video. Then, click Add to topic.
o To post to your profile: In the top left, click Camera.
3. At the top right, click Upload clip.
4. Upload your video clip.
o In the “Upload video” box, drag and drop your video file.
o Click in the “Upload video” box. Then, select the file you want to
upload.
5. Review your video clip.
6. When you’re ready to post your video, at the bottom right,
click Next.
7. On the “Post video” screen, post or save your video.

Using Mobile Application

1. Open the Flip app.

2. Choose whether you want to post the video to a topic or post it to
your profile.
o To post to a topic: Select the group and topic where you want
to post your video. Then, tap Add response.
o To post to your profile: At the bottom, tap Camera .
3. At the bottom left, tap Upload .
4. From your phone’s video library, tap the video clip you want to
upload.
5. At the bottom right of the video clip, tap Choose.
6. Review your video clip.
7. When you’re ready to post your video, at the bottom right,
tap Confirm.
8. On the post video screen, post or save your video.
