INTRODUCTION
Problem Statement
Municipal tap water often contains contaminants affecting safety, taste, and odour. There's a
need for an affordable, household-friendly tap water purifier system capable of removing
various impurities, ensuring safe and palatable drinking water, while being easy to maintain
and environmentally sustainable.
Objectives
• Ensure the removal of contaminants to make tap water safe for consumption.
• Improve the taste and overall quality of tap water by removing substances that
contribute to unpleasant odours and flavours.
Tap water purifiers can utilize a variety of technologies and methods to achieve water
purification, including filtration, reverse osmosis, ultraviolet (UV) sterilization, activated
carbon adsorption, and more. The specific method used may vary depending on the purifier's
design and intended purpose. The choice of a tap water purifier depends on factors such as the
quality of the local water supply and the contaminants present.
Overall, tap water purifiers play a crucial role in ensuring access to clean and safe drinking
water in homes and businesses, particularly in areas where the municipal water supply may
contain impurities or contaminants that need to be removed or reduced for health and taste
reasons.

Functional Properties of Tap Water Purifier
The functional properties of a tap water purifier refer to its capabilities and features that allow
it to effectively treat and improve the quality of tap water. These properties are essential for
ensuring safe and clean drinking water. Here are some of the key functional properties of a tap
water purifier:
Filtration
Tap water purifiers use various types of filters, such as activated carbon, sediment filters, and
membrane filters, to physically remove particles, sediments, and larger impurities from the
water. Filtration is effective in improving water clarity and reducing turbidity.
Contaminant Removal:
Tap water purifiers are designed to target specific contaminants commonly found in tap water,
including chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals (e.g., lead, mercury), bacteria, viruses, and
volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Each purifier may have a different set of contaminant
removal capabilities based on its technology.
Microbial Disinfection
Some purifiers incorporate UV sterilization or other disinfection methods to kill or inactivate
harmful microorganisms like bacteria, viruses, and protozoa. This helps ensure the water is
microbiologically safe to drink.
Chemical Adsorption
Activated carbon filters in tap water purifiers can adsorb chemicals, organic compounds, and
unpleasant odours and tastes, improving the overall quality and taste of the water.
Flow Rate
The purifier should maintain an adequate flow rate to meet the household's water consumption
needs without causing significant pressure to drop or reduced water availability.
Ease of Installation
Tap water purifiers should be easy to install under a sink or in the water supply line, typically
with minimal plumbing work required.
3
Maintenance
They should be designed for easy maintenance, with readily replaceable filters or membranes,
and clear instructions for routine servicing.
Compatibility
The purifier should be compatible with the existing tap water infrastructure and fit seamlessly
into the plumbing system.
Durability
It should be constructed from durable materials to ensure a long service life and reliable
operation.
Energy Efficiency
Some purifiers aim to minimize energy consumption, particularly in processes like RO, where
energy-efficient membranes and pumps can reduce operating costs.
Waste Reduction
Some systems are designed to minimize water wastage during the purification process,
especially in RO systems.
The specific functional properties of a tap water purifier may vary depending on the technology
and design of the system. Consumers should choose a purifier that best meets their water
quality needs and preferences based on the local water supply and contaminants present.

Filter Configuration
The "Five Stage Composite Functional Filtration" system we've described incorporates various
filtration media to enhance the quality of tap water. Each stage serves a specific purpose in
improving water taste, removing impurities, and adjusting pH levels. Here's an elaboration of
each stage:
Maifan-Stone
• Maifan-stone is a natural mineral known for releasing trace elements beneficial to the
human body.
• It adds essential minerals like iron, manganese, sodium, and calcium to the water.
• These minerals can contribute to improved water quality and potential health benefits.
By combining these five filtration stages, the composite functional filtration system provides a
comprehensive solution for tap water purification. It addresses a wide range of contaminants
and aims to deliver cleaner, better-tasting water with added minerals and an adjusted pH level.
5
Additionally, the system effectively removes chlorine-related compounds, improving both the
safety and quality of the water you consume.

Installation Instruction
Installation Method for Three Different Faucet
• Please prepare the screw for installation by warming Tip
• Use Slotted screwdriver to lose muti - function connector, put on the mouth of
Anodontia faucet.
• Then tighten the connector. To make sure tightly fixed, avoid leaking.
7
Installation Method for Internal Thread Faucet
• Prepare the outer thread parts (as pictured above)
• Put off the bubbler (as pictured above)
• Choose the suitable waterproof pad and outer thread connector as pictured above),
install them into faucet and tighten as pictured above). (Attention, remember to install
the waterproof pad to avoid leaking).
• Check the waterproof pad and tighten the tap water purifier into the outer thread
connector.
• Open the tap water purifier, switching back and forth wrench, check the leak problem.
• If no leaking, just open the water purifier till there comes out clean water.
